Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna has taken a swipe at bloggers and social media users from Mwingi Central, urging them to steer clear of political affairs in his constituency.
Nguna, emphasizing his position, described himself as the firm and bona fide leader of Mwingi West, asserting his strong support base and popularity in the area.
“Watu wa Mwingi ya Kati, kueni na maisha ya utulivu. Mko na interest sana na Mwingi Magharibi, lakini kwa ground mambo ni tofauti. Tulieni, niwapange 2027. Kelele mingi kwa mtandao haisaidii,” he wrote on KPC.
Nguna is facing stiff competition from Wiper party members Ngenga and Kuvasila. Amid growing political tension, his association with kenya kwanza brigade has also hinted at a possible departure from Wiper, the party under which he was elected twice.
This move signals a potentially turbulent lead-up to the 2027 elections, as Nguna seeks to consolidate his hold on Mwingi West while fending off internal party rivals.
