Former Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has sparked fresh political debate after suggesting that one of the three Wiper Party aspirants seeking the Kitui governorship is secretly working against the party’s interests.
Ngilu alleged that some aspirants have been accepting favors from President William Ruto’s administration, including job opportunities for their children, while publicly claiming to support Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s presidential ambitions. She termed such conduct hypocritical and challenged Kalonzo to give her the opportunity to expose those involved.
Her remarks have since ignited widespread speculation among political observers and on social media. Many netizens have sought to identify which of the three leading Wiper gubernatorial hopefuls she could have been referring to.
Some online commentators argue that the allegations are unlikely to point to Senator Enoch Wambua (Kiio), whose children are reportedly still in university, or Woman Representative Dr. Irene Kasalu, whose children are said to be too young to fit the description.
As a result, attention has largely shifted to Kitui Central MP Makali . Those advancing the theory cite reports that his son secured a position linked to (SHA) in Kajiado County under the current administration.
However, Ngilu did not name any individual, and no evidence has been publicly presented but all arrows are pointing to one man,MATEMAVIVU.
