MAKALI MULU’S OWN NEIGHBOURS SAY THEY’VE HAD ENOUGH OF HIM

In what many are calling the strongest vote of no confidence yet, residents of Mulundi Village in Kyangwithya East the birthplace of MP Hon. Makali Mulu have taken over a task they say their elected leader failed to accomplish.

After waiting for over 15 years for their road to be upgraded, the residents mobilized themselves, raised funds, and graded the road without government intervention. They said years of promises had yielded little, leaving them with no option but to solve the problem themselves.

The angry residents openly questioned the MP’s development record and expressed disappointment that such a basic project remained a mirage despite years of his representation and substantial public resources allocated to the constituency.

They also sent a blunt message to Kitui voters: leadership should be judged by results, not rhetoric. Before entrusting anyone with the governorship, they urged the public to examine what has already been delivered to the people who know that leader best his own neighbours.

For the residents of Mulundi, actions spoke louder than endless radio tours.
