A political storm has erupted after Mizani Africa publicly distanced itself from a poll circulating online that purported to show Kitui gubernatorial aspirant Kiio and Wambua leading the 2027 race.In a statement shared on its official social media pages, Mizani Africa flagged the survey as fake and warned the public against spreading misinformation.The polling firm posted the following message:”FAKE POLL ALERT: Don’t allow misinformation to shape public opinion. According to that poll, Dr. Irene Kasalu was in the lead, followed by Charity Ngilu, Makali Mulu, and Enoch Wambua.The fake poll is alleged to have been created by Kiio and Wambua’s supporters after the release of the authentic survey.
