
The Office of the Woman Representative for Kitui County, in collaboration with the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF), is set to launch the NGAAF Grade 10–12 Scholarships, a programme aimed at supporting secondary school students across the county.The scholarship targets learners in Grades 10 to 12 and seeks to ease the financial burden on families while ensuring students remain in school and complete their secondary education. The initiative reflects a broader commitment to education as a tool for empowerment and social transformation.The official launch will be held on 3rd February 2026 at the Kitui Multi-Purpose Hall, starting from 8:00 a.m. The event will be hosted by Hon. Dr. Irene Kasalu, the Woman Representative for Kitui County and incoming Governor of Kitui County.The programme is expected to benefit students from vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds, reinforcing the principles of affirmative action and inclusive development. Education stakeholders, parents, students, and community members are encouraged to attend the launch and engage on the scholarship’s objectives, eligibility, and application process.The NGAAF scholarship initiative aligns with Kenya’s broader development agenda under Vision 2030, underscoring education as a cornerstone for sustainable development and future leadership in Kitui County.
