Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has issued a blunt message to the Ukambani electorate: leaders who disrespect Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka or fail to align with him politically should not be entertained.Gachagua said Kalonzo remains the undisputed political kingpin of Ukambani and a serious presidential contender whose leadership must be respected. He warned against politicians seeking votes in the region while openly or secretly working against Kalonzo’s interests.“Ukambani must speak with one voice,” Gachagua said, adding that regions that stand firmly behind their leaders gain strength and leverage nationally. He urged voters to reject political pretenders and only back leaders aligned with Kalonzo and the Wiper Party, saying loyalty and unity will determine the region’s political relevance ahead of 2027.As alliances shift and the succession battle takes shape, Gachagua’s message was clear: in Ukambani, disrespecting Kalonzo is political suicide.
