Nguni Ward, 11th December 2025 — Nguni Ward has taken a significant step toward community-centered development after Hon. Jeremiah Mutua today presided over a successful validation exercise for CLIDP and Sand Dam projects for the FY 2025/2026 and FY 2026/2027
The exercise, conducted at the Nguni Ward Administrators Office, brought together Village Administrators from across the ward to review and prioritize key development projects. Each village selected three priority projects under both the CLIDP and Sand Dam programs, ensuring that the community’s most pressing needs are addressed.
In addition to village-specific projects, the ward identified cross-cutting initiatives covering 30% of the total project allocation. These broader projects are expected to benefit multiple villages and deliver wide-reaching impact across different sectors within the ward.
Hon. Mutua emphasized the importance of transparency and community participation in project selection, reaffirming his commitment to development that resonates with the real needs of the people.
The full list of projects slated for implementation in FY 2025/2026 will be shared soon.
Nguni Ward remains focused on transformative development that supports sustainable growth, enhances livelihoods, and strengthens community well-being.
