DEC 2025 KAMPALA, UGANDA — Kitui West Parliamentarian Edith Nyenze has secured a medal for Kenya in the walking race category during the ongoing Inter-Parliamentary Games in Kampala.

The win adds to her record in the regional competition, where she has previously performed strongly.The legislator’s participation in parliamentary sports has drawn national attention in recent years.

In June 2025, Nyenze was recognised as the Best Performing MP in Kenya, receiving the Super Woman Award at an event held at Argyle Hotel, Nairobi.

Her latest achievement in Kampala highlights her continued involvement in inter-parliamentary sporting activities and contributes to Kenya’s overall performance in the games.
